Coffee mornings at St Paul with St Luke Primary are held every Friday morning and run from 9:00am in the Father Duncan Ross Room. The room is set up for parents and carers to meet on an informal basis to chat and meet new people in a relaxed environment. The aim of coffee mornings is to make the school a friendlier place for parents and carers and get them together to socialise and feel included in the life of the school. Coffee mornings provide a platform for parents to be able to say what workshops/taster sessions they would like.
Workshops/taster sessions allow those who are not confident enough to try a course. Different workshops attract different participants and these result in wider inclusion. We also invite public speakers to attend these sessions to share information about their work or service.
