Coffee Mornings at St Paul with St Luke Primary are held every Friday morning and run from 9:00am in the Father Duncan Ross Room. The room is set up for parents and carers to meet on an informal basis to chat and meet new people in a friendly environment.
The aim of coffee mornings is to make the school a friendlier place for parents and carers and get them together to socialise and feel included. Coffee mornings provide a platform for parents to be able to say what workshop/taster session they would like.
Workshops/taster sessions allow those who are not confident enough to try a course. Different workshops attract different participants and this results in wider inclusion. We also have public speakers attend these sessions to share information about their work or service.
Babies and toddlers are welcome to come along too so that they can socialise and play together with a range of available toys.
Check the newsletters and upcoming events panel on the website for details of workshops and training for parents. We will be running curriculum workshops this term on reading, writing and maths.
