Special Educational Needs at SPSL

We are passionate about ensuring the very best provision for all our pupils so that no children are left behind. Our school is inclusive and able to adapt so that all children are able to flourish.

Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life in all its fullness". We embrace the whole child and enable them to flourish whether neurodiverse or neurotypical, adapting our provision so that their light is able to shine. We foster the development of wise relationships in order to promote positive identities, emotional regulation skills and executive function.  We recognise that the school is not the building but is the community of people within it and that they allow transformation to take place.

Responding to the needs of our community we have a class for autistic children, called Flamingo Class, that is run by experienced specialist teachers.

SEND Local Offer

The local offer tells you what support is available from the council for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities, and their families. It includes information about education, health and care provision. It will also tell you about training, employment and independent living for young people with special educational needs or disabilities.

Find out about the local offer at St Paul's With St Luke's on the council website here.

SEND Information Report

The school’s SEND information report informs parents and carers about how we provide for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in our school.

It explains how we support them in all aspects of school life and remove barriers to achievement, and how we work in close partnership with parents/carers and children. You can read our latest SEND Report here.
