What support is there for parents and how can I support my child?
All children receive a home visit before they start nursery or reception. School staff will discuss any needs your child has and ways to help your children. Children who join the school at a later date are given a school visit date, at this meeting all relevant information is passed on.
Parent consultations are arranged each term and are an opportunity to speak to the teacher about your child’s learning and progress and ways you can help your child at home with learning.
The head teacher is available to discuss any concerns that you may have. Appointments with the head teacher can be made by an office staff member. Parents can also talk to the Parent Support Worker who can help fill in forms and translate for staff and parents.
The school also works with the following charities who work in our school to support children and parents.
