    SIAMS 2023

We are a small Church of England Primary School grounded in family values; we foster compassion, understanding and kindness. As one of the few remaining one-form entry primary schools, we ensure each child feels known and included. We welcome all into our nurturing community.

Fanoula Smith, Executive Headteacher.

Our School

  • Prayer and Reflection

"Shared values are explored during collective worship which is shaped by the Anglican foundation of the school. This creates meaningful moments for spiritual development." SIAMS 2023

  • Early Years

Our nursery room is packed with stimulating resources to support the children’s learning, including play-dough, painting & creative, water play, messy play, domestic role-play, small world, construction, maths, writing, reading and storytelling areas.

  • Growing our own food in the playground

We have created an environment in our outdoor areas in which our children develop a life-long relationship with the natural world. Implemented by trained practitioners, our children get the full Forest School experience within their own school.

  • Join the school food revolution!

Our children learn about real, nutritious and delicious food.  Our head chef, Dan, is a member of Chefs in Schools cooking fresh food from scratch every day and using nothing pre-packaged. Even the tomato ketchup and bread are made in house!

  • Learning in nature

Forest School is an inspirational learning process that allows children to develop confidence and skills in a natural setting. It supports play, exploration and supported risk taking.

  • Rooted in the church

We aim to provide an excellent education based on the principles of the Church of England, welcoming those of the Christian faith, those of other faiths and those of none. We understand that faith is the unseen warp and weft of the love that weaves our community together
